What is a Health and Wellness Coach?
I am a National Board and Mayo Clinic-certified Health and Wellness coach.
I will not just tell you to eat broccoli, force a diet-plan on you, or load you with "should's". The focus is on creating sustainable habits. We will build a plan tailor made to your needs, health and wellness, and the goals that come along with that.It is a collaborative relationship where your point of view is greatly valued.
Who is Rita?
I was inspired to become a Health and Wellness coach after I experienced first-hand a dramatic change in health. At age 24, I developed Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome + an autoimmune disease, hugely shifting my physical health.
Although it took years to rebuild my health through medical care and lots (and lots) of lifestyle adjustments, I am filled with gratitude for the developed skillsets and unique insight I now have around maintaining consistent health and wellness.
Who is eligible for Health and Wellness coaching?
My clients range from near-burnout professionals to those managing chronic illness. If you have changes you'd like to make with your health (may they be suggested by a doctor or out of your own personal interest), coaching will help you figure out how to follow through with realistic and consistent goal setting. Progress come from keeping your personal values in mind.
